About the Underwriting & Client Packaging team
Viper’s Underwriting & Client Packaging department is led by Jennifer Arsenault, MBA, Partner at Viper Equity Partners. Originally from New England, Jennifer’s wide range of experience includes financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, management reporting, external SEC reporting, investor relations, and strategy. She leads her team with a fierce dedication to each Viper client, taking time and care with everyone whom her team interacts with.

Preparing clients for buyers
For many of the doctors who find themselves working with Jennifer and her team, contracting Viper is their first journey into M&A. As such, the Viper team makes it a priority to put clients at ease and help them understand what they need to do with clear direction.
“My department prepares our clients for their presentation to buyers,” says Jennifer. “We create documents to fill their digital data room and work with every client so they’re ready to be evaluated by potential buyers.”
Regardless of a new client’s familiarity with the financial part of their business, Jennifer and her team work hard to make their part of the process as painless as possible. The Underwriting & Client Packaging team fulfills Viper’s contractual obligations, focusing on filling the client’s digital data room.
Each client’s data room is a secure digital repository for documents and materials that are helpful for a potential investor as they evaluate the offering. Included in the data room are materials such as historical financials, reports, biographies, etc. Ultimately it will also house the confidential information memorandum (CIM), a detailed and comprehensive overview of the business, client, and team.
The market is very strong right now, time is of the essence for Viper’s clients. Moving quickly is key. When a new client prioritizes their time with the underwriting team and are responsive to requests for data gathering, the process moves swiftly and Jennifer and her team are able to get that client to market with velocity.
“We’re very task and time-oriented, and we convey that to our clients,” adds Jennifer. “One of our first goals is to finalize a one-page business summary and a financial assessment of the client’s most recent twelve-month performance so we can start getting them exposure in the marketplace as quickly as possible. Our team moves as quickly as our client is able to move while ensuring each client feels like our top priority.”
